Exports
- The TweedGold region exported some $3b worth of goods and services.
- The major exports from TweedGold are accommodation, machinery, transport, chemicals, wholesale, food manufacturing, retail and metal products, retail, property and business services, and construction.
- The TweedGold region is a net importer of product giving rise to competitive back-loading freight costs to southern states.
Employment
- At the 2001 Census there were 221,000 people in the labour force in TweedGold.
